Job Description
| Postdoctoral positions are currently available in Dr. Toborek’s laboratory at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Miami, Florida. The main focus of our research is on HIV-1-induced molecular and cellular mechanisms of injury to the brain endothelium and the blood-brain barrier. The work involves both cell culture research and animal experiments. The candidate is required - upon the appropriate training - to work with HIV-1. The ideal candidate for this position will be a recent doctoral graduate, who is highly motivated and has expertise in virology, molecular biology, cellular techniques, and/or animal experimentation.
