Job Description

A postdoctoral fellow position is available to study molecular and cellular mechanisms of pain and synaptic transmission and plasticity. Candidates should have solid graduate training in neuroscience or genetics and a strong publication record using patch-clamp electrophysiological recordings, genetics, epigenetics, or gene therapy. Ongoing studies include epigenetic control of chronic pain, ion channel regulation in primary sensory neurons and spinal cord, synaptic plasticity, and the hypothalamus involvement in hypertension development.
