University of Michigan] We are seeking a postdoctoral research fellow to conduct interdisciplinary research in the areas of nutrient signaling, circadian metabolic control, and transcriptional networks in metabolic disease. The goal of these studies is to discover novel mechanisms underlying obesity, type 2 diabetes and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). We will use biochemical, genetic, and genomic tools to interrogate the regulatory networks that govern cellular and systems energy metabolism. Candidates with strong interest in basic medical research and previous training in biomedical research are encouraged to apply.
