POST-DOCTORAL TRAINING FELLOW IN PARP BIOLOGY (GENE FUNCTION)
We currently have a vacancy for a Post-Doctoral Training Fellow in our Gene Function Team, led by Professor Alan Ashworth.
The Gene Function Laboratory currently houses over 30 scientists and runs a wide- ranging portfolio of projects including basic cancer biology and drug development programmes. As part of these projects, the laboratory interacts with a diverse range of collaborators, contract research organisations, pharmaceutical companies and funding charities.
We are seeking a Post-Doctoral Training Fellow to study PARP biology with the aim of furthering our understanding of cancer biology and the treatment of cancer. This work will build upon our previous work in developing novel therapeutic approaches based upon PARP inhibition.
Appointment will be on a fixed term contract up to 31st July 2015 in the first instance, with a starting salary expected in the range of £30,895 – £33,318 p.a. inclusive. Full salary scale: £30,895 – £38,990 p.a. inclusive.
