欧洲分子生物学实验室招收博士后
Postdoctoral Fellow - Nucleocytoplasmic Exchange and Tissue Development : Heidelberg, Germany
The European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) is one of the highest ranked scientific research organisations in the world. The Headquarters Laboratory is located in Heidelberg (Germany) and the outstations are in Grenoble (France), Hamburg (Germany), Hinxton (UK) and Monterotondo (Italy).
A postdoctoral position is available in the Beck laboratory in the area of nucleocytoplasmic exchange and tissue development. The successful candidate will use the Zebrafish system, genetic manipulation tools and mass spectrometry based proteomics to investigate compositional rearrangements of nuclear pores and other protein complexes during embryonic development. The project will be carried out in close collaboration with the Gilmour group and proteomics core facility at EMBL Heidelberg.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in at least one of the following areas will be an advantage: developmental biology, mass spectrometry based proteomics, cell biology of nucleocytoplasmic exchange.
The successful candidate will receive interdisciplinary training in mass spectrometry based proteomics, developmental biology and computational algorithms for the interpretation of large systems-wide data sets.
