Postdoctoral Position

Postdoctoral position is available immediately at Massachusetts General Hospital. The focus of the laboratory is on the molecular analysis of anti-apoptotic signal transduction pathways involved in chemotherapy resistance, with an emphasis on molecular target discovery/validation and translation into clinical application.

Qualified candidates for this position will have a Ph.D. in molecular or cell biology, microbiology, or biochemistry, and extensive experience in cancer research and animal models. A first author publication record in high-impact english-language journals, strong english language writing and communication skills, ability to co-write grant applications and a high level of motivation are required. The position is available for up to three years, depending upon research progress and continuation of funding. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience according to institutional guidelines.
