Postdoctoral position to study mammalian tissue regeneration
by in vivo live imaging
Research Area: Stem cells, Mouse and in vivo imaging
Project title: Studying the behavior of stem cells as they exit their niche in the mouse hair follicle system during normal regeneration and cancer.
Description of project: A postdoctoral position is available to study stem cell behavior in real time by two-photon microscopy using skin hair follicle as a model system. My lab combines genetics, molecular biology and live intravital microscopy to understand the basic mechanisms that regulate stem cell behavior in vivo during normal regeneration and cancer.
Requirement: Only applicants who have published as first author in international scientific journals are encouraged to apply. Applicants should preferably have previous experience in at least mouse work and microscopy. PhD in Biomedical Sciences or equivalent required.
