The post is subject to standard probationary terms. The duration of the post is from 1 May 2012 - 31 March 2013.

The job is to undertake research on graph colouring under the guidance of Dr Paulusma and Dr Mertzios. In particular, the aim is to study the computational complexity of variants of graph colouring for specific subclasses of graphs and to design and analyse algorithms that solve graph colouring problems both in the on- and off-line setting for several variants as described in the proposal. This involves sophisticated methods and techniques from both structural graph theory and computational complexity.
