The opening is for a PDF position interested in playing a significant role in projects involving lab-on-a-chip. The main project is in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neuroscience and DALSA-Teledyne and involves florescence imaging of neurons growth/ stimulation via a CMOS image sensor, an optical custom designed filter and a light source.
Other projects involving integrated optics are in different stages of research and the successful candidate will be working with different people and collaborators to promote the developments. A well- developed engineering/ scientific background in electronics/ optics and integration is essential for this position. Knowledge of biomedical applications is a bonus.
