POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS in Molecular Neurobiology are available at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago to study the roles of recently-identified psychiatric disease susceptibility genes in synaptic pathology (Penzes et al., Nat. Neurosci. 2011, 14:285; Woolfrey et al., Nat. Neurosci. 2009, 12:1275; Cahill et al,, Mol. Psychiatry 2012, 17:99; Cahill et al., PNAS 2009 106:13058). Strong background in molecular and cell biology or neuroscience is required. Enthusiastic applicants with a recent Ph.D. and experience in advanced imaging, molecular biology, cell biology, or electrophysiology are strongly encouraged to apply.
