Job Description

We propose a position for a scientist focused on development of new approaches yielding homogenous populations of fully differentiated hepatocytes generated from induced pluripotent stem cells.
The objective is to develop robust and reproducible protocols and tools for the generation of human mature hepatocytes dedicated to toxicity tests for drug screening.
The scientist will have to
-Initiate, plan and execute scientific research and development that is critical.
-maintain a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theory.
-participate in the development of patent applications.
The project requires expertise and extensive knowledge of advanced principles, theories and concepts in the area of liver, hepatocytes and stem cells.
The position will require to work in collaboration with different bodies from the academia and the industry.

Education/Experience
Requires a PhD in a scientific discipline and an international Post Doc experience or
with 3 years’ experience in a research environment of excellence. A Ph D associated with an MSc will be particularly appreciated.
