Dr. MIngnan Chen’s lab at the University of Utah, Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry invites applications for one postdoctoral research associate position. The primary responsibility of this job is to develop novel drug targeting methods toward metastasis. Please see Nature Materials 8: 993-999 for background information. The desired candidates should be dedicated to cancer therapy innovation with research experience in (1) metastasis research or (2) cancer drug delivery evidenced by at least three original research papers. Hands-on experience with molecular cloning and murine cancer models are preferred. Research is conducted in this top ranked department in collaboration with Utah’s Huntsman Cancer Institute. Stipends are commensurate with experience. A start date of June 1st, 2012 is preferred. Salt Lake City, Utah is a vibrant metropolitan area with high quality of life and outdoor recreation opportunities.
