A position in the Centre for Molecular Medicine is available for 2 years from June 2012 to work on a project to study the importance of the intermediate filament protein Vimentin in the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease Crohn’s disease. This is a CSO funded position investigating the role of Vimentin in the regulation of NOD2 responsiveness to adherant-invasive E.coli in the pathogenesis of Crohn’s disease. You should have a PhD in a relevant area of biology and research experience involving gene expression and cell culture.
