Job Title: Postdoctoral Position in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics

Job Description: Applications are invited for a post-doctoral scientist in the Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics group within the Department of Molecular Therapeutics. The Department of Molecular Therapeutics at Scripps Florida comprises a unique environment wherein researchers with both academic and industry experience work collaboratively, integrating disciplines such as; chemical development, high throughput screening, target validation and behavioral testing providing training within a multidisciplinary team environment. The candidate would research metabolism-induced drug toxicity and reactive metabolites using both in vitro and in vivo models. The position would entail planning, performing and interpreting experiments. Candidates must possess a PhD in a related scientific discipline and should match several of the desired skill sets: primary cell culture, hepatocyte isolation, Western blot, LC-MS/MS, enzyme kinetics, toxicology and/or organic chemistry. Experience with reactive intermediates or cytochrome P450 is desirable but not required.
