A post-doctoral position is open in the Laboratory of Organic Photochemistry at Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic:

The project will be oriented to laser flash photolysis, pump-and-probe and fluorescence spectroscopy, and mechanistic studies, related to one of our projects:

- Photochemical transformations of organic pollutants in arctic environments
- Photoactivatable compounds for biology and medicine
- Building of a new time-resolved spectroscopy apparatus

Applicants are required to hold a Ph.D. degree and be experienced in the experimental techniques of physical organic chemistry. Computational chemistry and statistical data analysis skills are welcome. The fellow will lead the research projects and prepare manuscripts.

The stay is for 1 year; it can be extended for 1 more year.
