美国凯斯西储大学医学院放射肿瘤学博士后招聘
job description
Postdoctoral fellow/scholar Positions in Molecular Radiation Biology; Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. The Department of Radiation Oncology of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine is urgently looking for two postdoc fellows to join Dr. Junran Zhang’s group. The main interest of Dr. Zhang’s lab is to understand how the repair of DNA double strand breaks (DSB) protects against carcinogenesis and how the disrupted DSB repair contributes to sensitivity of cancer cells to radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The DNA damage response proteins which Dr. Zhang’s group is interested are BRCA1, RPA, RAD51, ATR, 53BP1, BLM and others. In addition to investigating DNA DSB response pathways, Dr.Zhang lab recently started a new avenue of investigation into the relationship of NEDD4-1 and AKT in basic cell signaling. Therefore, understanding the molecular mechanism by which NEDD4-1 activtes AKT and its implication for cancer therapy is the other focus in Dr.Zhang’s lab. The candiates are requried with a PhD degree in cancer/cell/molecular biology, biochemistry or related field and with a sound & demonstrated expertise in tissue culture, protein biochemistry & molecular biology technique and immunofluorescence microscopy. The candiates with experience of mouse work is also encourged to apply. Effective verbal and written communication skills will be required. Annual salary will be determined depending on qualifications and experience. If interested, please send a cover letter and a CV via email to:jzhang-lab@case.edu
