job description
The project concerns an immunomodulatory protein and its ability to affect cancer growth and metastatic spread. A key task is to produce recombinant adenovirus producing the protein and assess its effect on cancer in different in vivo models, eventually including treatment of cancer patients. A range of cell biology techniques will be employed to determine the effect of treatment, such as sectioning, immunostaining, microscopy, image analysis. The work also includes careful planning of the work, organization, collaboration with other scientists, trouble-shooting, and oral/written presentation of data.
