A postdoctoral post is available immediately at the Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology, Department of Medicine, and University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). Our laboratory, an integral member of the NCI-designated Cancer Therapy and Research Center (CTRC), is primarily interested in elucidating the molecular basis of hematological malignancies, with emphasis in B-cell lymphoma biology. These research efforts build on our recently published studies, are geared towards clinical translation, and are supported by long-term grants from the NCI/NIH and CPRIT (Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas). Candidates (MD and/or PhD) must have substantial demonstrated expertise with contemporary techniques in molecular & cellular biology and animal models, and have at least one first author publication in a reputable journal. Proficiency in standard bioinformatics approaches is a major plus. Suitable candidates must also have excellent organizational and communication skills and need to be enthusiastic about their work.
