The Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities is recruiting highly motivated and enthusiastic postdoctoral fellows to carry out research in the area of molecular and cellular biology, focusing on the treatment and prevention of cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. The successful candidate will work very closely with a group of basic and clinical scientists and will play a key role in cutting edge research activities leading to the development of new therapeutic modalities and the elucidation of mechanisms of action.

Self-motivated individuals with research training and experience in molecular/cellular biology and rodent animal models are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, dedicated, organized and effective at working and interacting with others as part of a team. Attention to detail, ability to trouble shooting, and ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects is expected. Candidates must also have demonstrated capability to accurately and efficiently communicate, document, analyze, and report research results.
