A Postdoctoral position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Zheng Fu in the department of Human and Molecular Genetics and the VCU institute of Molecular Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Medicine. Our research focus is on the identification of causative genetic events in cancer initiation and progression. Our aim is to increase the understanding of molecular mechanisms underlying cancer etiology, with the goal of developing cancer biomarkers and innovative cancer therapies. We seek highly qualified, dedicated individuals with a commitment to research excellence. Strong background in molecular biology, cell biology and/or biochemistry is required. Research experience in animal models would be an advantage.
