Postdoctoral Fellow – Soil Ecotoxicologist / Chemist

The Position:
Working within the multidisciplinary, Contaminant Chemistry and Ecotoxicology program you will conduct research into the behaviour and ecotoxicology of silver in terrestrial environments.
Under general direction you will:
- be responsible for the development of ecotoxicological information on silver in soils using a variety of terrestrial ecotoxicological tests,
- develop methods to examine the chemistry and fate of silver in soils.'
- apply microbial, plant and invertebrate ecotoxicological tests to examine the ecotoxicology of silver in terrestrial environments.
Location: Waite Campus, Urrbrae, Adelaide, South Australia
Salary: $75K - $82K plus up to 15.4% Superannuation

To be successful you will need:
- A PhD degree in soil ecotoxicology, soil chemistry, environmental chemistry, or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of standard techniques to measure ecotoxicological endpoints of metal contaminants on terrestrial biota.
- Demonstrated experience in research projects that examine the biogeochemistry of elements in environmental systems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
