Lab Description
New Postdoctoral Fellowship positions are available to investigate the role of the tumor microenvironment in cancer progression. Our lab studies the intricate relationship between immune and neoplastic cells in breast and pancreatic tumors, we utilize several genetically-engineered mouse (GEM) models. We are specifically interested in understanding how immune system regulates cancer response to therapy and progression to metastasis.

Washington University offers a highly collaborative, top-notch training and research environment in tumor biology. The Wash.U. Medical School has a very active and highly regarded tumor immunology community, and there will be ample opportunity for collaboration within the department of Medicine and with other faculty at the medical school. Additionally, our ongoing collaborations with the Department of Surgery would afford interested researchers/postdocs the opportunity to utilize human clinical samples and be involved in clinical trials.

Qualifications:
Candidate must have a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent degree. We are seeking postdoctoral scholars with a strong interest in the tumor microenvironment in breast and/or pancreatic cancer. Candidates with first author publication from their PhD training in tumor biology or immunology are encouraged to apply. Strong candidates from other fields will also be considered.
