Postdoctoral Position: Bacterial and Viral Respiratory Comparative Pathology and Immunology in Murine Models
A postdoctoral position is available in the Rochester General Hospital Research Institute in Rochester NY to study bacterial and viral interactions and host immune responses that allow for bacterial (respiratory) or viral infection (influenza) of lungs in an infant model of infection. Experience with immunological assays and vaccine projects preferred. Candidate must be able to plan and perform experiments with minimal supervision and have excellent communication skills. Candidate will be responsible for intellectually contributing to existing and future projects. Applications should have a Ph.D in Immunology, Microbiology, Pathology or related fields and be qualified to work in the USA.
