A postdoctoral fellowship position in is available to study anatomical and functional organization of ionotropic glutamate receptors in auditory synapses. Projects will involve integration of electron microscopy data with patch clamp recordings, and with other optical and electrophysiological tools in brain slice experiments to study the principles of anatomical and functional design of auditory synapses.

Applicants with experience in quantitative methods in electrophysiology, cellular imaging, and/or computational neuroscience, and who are highly motivated for developing careers as independent investigators, are especially encouraged.
