A postdoctoral research position is immediately available in the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute, focusing on the biology of retinoblastoma. We are seeking a well-rounded individual with proven excellent communication skills, independence, and drive to join our research group investigating the role of the oncogene KIF14 in retinoblastoma pathogenesis and its potential as a therapeutic target. An earned PhD or equivalent degree with experience in molecular biology (cloning, expression analyses), biochemistry (recombinant protein expression and characterization) and cell biology (tissue culture, microscopy) is required. Animal model experience plus demonstrated interests in chemical biology, eye disease and/or cancer are strongly preferred.
