Our lab studies the effect of acidosis on neuron physiology and pathophysiology, with a special emphasis on acid-sensing ion channels. We use a combination of imaging, cellular, molecular and physiological approaches to study the regulation of ASICs and their role in acidosis-induced neuronal injury.
