Job Description DNA damage within the transcription unit of a gene has profound effects on the quality and quantity of transcripts when the region is expressed. The location of DNA damage also influences its repair. This postdoctoral position will examine the effect of site-specific DNA damage on transcription and also investigate the repair pathways that remove it. Applicants should be highly motivated with experience in molecular biology and biochemistry. Other highly desirable skills include cell culture and experience with qPCR.
