Job Description
The West Virginia University Research Corporation (WVURC) seeks to hire a Postdoctoral Fellow for the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center, at West Virginia University. This position will study molecular mechanisms of tumorigenesis and metastasis, with focus on cell motility and invasion as well as the interaction of stoma cells and tumor cells. The projects will employ advanced technologies, such as genomic screening and proteomics. In consultation with the Principal Investigator (PI); the incumbent will develop new techniques, modify existing laboratory techniques and analytical procedures for the analysis of cellular responses, and refine existing techniques to meet specialized needs of research projects. Incumbent assumes the research-related duties of the PI in his absence and also assists in the training of students.

A Ph.D. in cell biology or related degree and experience in molecular biology and signal transduction are required for consideration of this position.
