Postdoctoral Position in Molecular Imaging

One postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Molecular Imaging Laboratory, Department of Radiology at the University of Pittsburgh. The focus of this position will be on developing molecular imaging probes, primarily radiopharmaceuticals, for imaging of cancer, cancer metastasis and other diseases.

The candidate must have a PhD in chemistry, biochemistry and/or cell biology. Experience working with radionuclides, peptides and proteins, including purification techniques, is desired. Experience with cell culture and rodent models of disease is also preferred, but not required. The position requires working with a diverse research team and collaborators, and therefore strong communication skills in English are required.

The appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal for another 1-2 years.
