A postdoctoral position is available in the area of cardiac cellular electrophysiology. Applicants must have documented research expertise in patch clamp/electrophysiology using isolated myocytes. The ideal candidate would also have experience with cardiomyocytes derived from mouse embryonic stem cells (ESCM). A wide range of projects are of interest, including the electrogenesis of automaticity of ESCM, strategies for promoting the maturation of ESCM, and electrical coupling between ESCM and native myocytes.
