Two-year Postdoctoral Position to Study β-cell Gene Regulation and Metabolism – Job ID 11315

The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark, is seeking a skilled and dedicated postdoctoral researcher, starting 10 August, to join the Susanne Mandrup research group which studies regulation of eukaryotic gene regulation and metabolism.

The applicant should have a strong background within the field of eukaryotic molecular biology and transcriptional regulation in mammalian cell systems, and will be conducting research on pancreatic β-cell gene regulation and metabolism. The chosen applicant is expected to take part in national and international scientific meetings and to contribute to the teaching at the department.
