Job Description
The Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia seeks a Research Scientist to work in the laboratory of Dr. Howard Goodkin. The incumbent conducts research on plasticity of GABAeric neurotransmission in the central nervous system. The work is conducted independently and assigned research is accomplished on his or her own initiative.

Candidates must have a PhD and a record of productivity and experience in patch clamp electrophysiology. Significant post-doctoral research experience is preferred.
