A postdoctoral position is available at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, USA. Our laboratory is utilizing state-of-art technologies including mouse transgene, knock-out, in vitro ES cell differentiation, and functional genomics to understand the roles of transcription factors and epigenetic regulators in regulating heart development and in cardiovascular pathogenesis. As a postdoctoral member, you will have various opportunities to scientifically interact with faculty members in human genetics, cardiac electrophysiology, adult cardiology, system biology, and developmental biology. Ideal applicants should have a PhD or MD degree. The successful candidate should be highly self-motivated, energetic, and work efficiently. The Mount Sinai School of Medicine is in the upper east side of Manhattan, New York City. Postdoctoral fellows will be eligible for subsidized school housing near the medical center.
