Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Oncology Ref.- 122

As a self-motivated and enthusiastic scientist you will be involved in the preclinical development of novel oncology focused therapeutics. You must have excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with other teams in the multidisciplinary matrix and with external partners. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work in a dynamic drug development organization and perform cutting edge experiments to characterize the mechanism of action of our drug candidates.

Your Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the evaluation of novel Anticalins using in vitro and in vivo preclinical models
• Planning, coordination and execution of key experiments (Previous working experience of tissue culture, viability assays, invasion assays, angiogenesis assays, western blotting, Q-PCR, analysis of cell signalling, protein-protein interactions or cell surface binding would be considered particularly desirable)
• Critically reviewing data and publications in order to build mechanistic / pathway specific models of disease
• Documentation of experimental work

Our Requirements:
• PhD in molecular biology, oncology or a related discipline
• Experience of cell based assays and molecular biology techniques
• Ability to organize multiple experiments simultaneously and multi-task.
• Excellent software knowledge
• Strong teamplayer
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English).
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Collaborative and proactive attitude
