Postdoctoral Research Associate
Ref: 00006-4
Salary: Grade 7 £31,798 – £35,788 per annum

You will contribute to a 5-year project entitled, “New Blood: Industrial generation of red blood cells for transfusion.” Specifically, the job requires the development and implementation of methods for pluripotent stem cell differentiation, genetic manipulation and small molecule screening; analysing the results, participating in the writing up of the results for publication and helping to prepare further grant applications.

This job forms part of a large multi-centre consortium and the role requires excellent interpersonal skills and capacity for successful collaborative work.

Funding is guaranteed for 2 years with a possible extension to a total of 5 years.
