Project Description:
One postdoctoral fellow position is available in the lab of Dr. Yong Rao at the McGill Centre for Research in Neuroscience to study the molecular and cellular mechanisms regulating neuronal connectivity and behavior (i.e. aggression and directional choice) in the model system Drosophila melanogaster. The projects will involve a combination of biochemical, molecular and genetic approaches to isolate and characterize novel genes involved in regulating neural network formation and behavior.
