The Laboratory of Dr Jian Hui Wu at the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research, McGill University, Montreal, Canada, is currently accepting applications for an open Postdoctoral position in the fields of organic and medicinal chemistry. The primary focus of Dr Wu’s laboratory is to discover novel anticancer agents by integrating Structure-based Dug Design, Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Biology (http://www.ladydavis.ca/ and http://www.medicine.mcgill.ca/oncology/).
The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry, which was obtained in 2010 or later. This highly motivated candidate is expected to be responsible for the synthesis and structure activity relationships development of novel anti-cancer agents, which are based on bioactive compounds generated by structure-based drug design or natural products isolated from traditional Chinese medicinal herbs.
