Job Description
An opportunity is available for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Dmitry Gabrilovich at Moffitt Cancer Center. This position will report directly to Dr. Yulia Nefedova, under the overall supervision of Dr. Dmitry Gabrilovich in the Immunology Program. We are looking for a highly motivated individual interested in investigating the role of myeloid cells in regulation of tumor progression and response to therapy. The principal area of investigation involves the study of the role of myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSC) in regulation of tumor cell response to chemotherapy. However, additional projects dealing with molecular and cellular mechanisms of differentiation and function of MDSC in cancer will also be available.

A Doctoral degree in Biological Sciences is required. The successful candidate should have strong background in cellular and molecular biology and interest in tumor immunology. Sufficient experience with flow cytometry and mouse models is a requirement. Basic knowledge of immunologic techniques is a plus. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and command of the English language.

The laboratory is located in the NCI designated H. Lee Moffitt Comprehensive Cancer Center affiliated with the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
