Job Description
Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology is seeking a highly motivated experienced individual to lead newly forming fMRI Brain Imaging Core Facility (equipped with 3T scanner), within the newly constructed Neurobiology Centre.

Expectations:
It is expected that this person should have a strong research and technology background in the field of neuro-imaging using functional magnetic resonance and related technologies. A successful candidate will develop new research approaches and collaborations in neuro-imaging of the brain and the nervous system and train the institute researchers on using the equipment and setting up experiments. Successful candidate should facilitate research experiments for scientists at the Institute and in partnering institutions of the National imaging research centre in biological and biomedical sciences.

The employment start target date: January 1, 2012
Employment duration: 2 years (subject to extension to 5 years)
