Postdoctoral Fellow Positions (1-2 openings)

Supervisor: 

Xiuhua Pan, Ph.D., Principal Investigator under the Hundred Talents Program at Zhejiang University, and doctoral supervisor. Dr. Pan conducted postdoctoral research at Stanford University in the United States. Her laboratory focuses on lipid nanoparticles, functional nanomaterials, and novel veterinary drug formulations, with an emphasis on their applications in precision treatment of animal diseases. More information about the supervisor and research group can be found at: https://person.zju.edu.cn/0026204

Dapeng Peng, Ph.D., Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Zhejiang University. His research focuses on veterinary drug residues and food safety, with significant achievements in small-molecule antigen design, precision recognition materials, and rapid food safety detection technologies. Qualifications

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

1. Applicants should be under 35 years old and got a doctor’s degree in recent years, and work full-time in the ZJU.

2. Applicants should have a background in Veterinary Medicine, Pharmaceutics, or related disciplines, possess strong research capabilities, and have published first-author SCI-indexed papers in reputable academic journals.

3. Applicants should have strong English reading and academic writing skills, with the ability to independently prepare scientific manuscripts for publication.

4. A high level of responsibility, integrity, and motivation, along with strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit, will be considered strong assets.

Application Materials and Selection Process

Applicants should submit the following materials:

1.Curriculum Vitae (CV), including educational background, research experience, academic achievements, English proficiency, and brief personal information.

2.Supporting documents demonstrating research competence and academic excellence, such as published papers, recommendation letters, records of research projects, and awards or honors.

3.A brief statement of research interests and future plans (no more than 500 words) outlining the applicant’s intended research goals during the postdoctoral appointment.

All application materials will be treated as strictly confidential. Qualified candidates who pass the initial review will be contacted via email or phone to arrange an interview. Final selection and appointment will proceed in accordance with Zhejiang University’s postdoctoral admission and approval procedures, upon agreement by the supervisor and the College of Animal Sciences.
